When I was making this sculpture I kept thinking to make it table top profile but make it look and feel it interesting and at the same time complicated look. The composition appears to be balanced and symmetrical, with the sculptural form seemingly floating above its base, giving it a sense of lightness despite its solid construction. It's an elegant piece that demonstrates principles of modern abstract design through its use of geometric forms, pattern, and space.
